The sexism rampant in this country has gone too far. I'm not sure how many people are aware of Rush Limbaugh; but this is a summary of some of his more recent comments:

I am furious. I am beyond furious, I am beyond words to explain what I am feeling. How *dare* he call women who are trying to take a stand names like this? How *dare* he imply that the responsibility of sex is on the women? Men are allowed to have contraception and viagra and whatever else they please, but women aren't allowed to choose on abortions, contraception, or even the representation of themselves in the media? When did we decide as a nation that this was okay?

I don't understand how a hateful, white man who is insensitive and disrespectful, hateful and quite frankly does not represent the best of our education, is as popular as he is. It is deplorable that we are alright with this.

Well, we have been alright with this.
This has to end. I refuse to allow any child of mine to have to put up with the objectification and men-pleasing that women have to deal with. I will start small, with this instance, and I hope I can grow from there, so that any child of mine will grow up in a culture and a world where everyone has equal respect, gendered or not, common race or not.

It's not okay.
I ask for any support I might have, or please send something else I can work on. We need to fix things, and I am only one person, but I'm  willing to start on what I can.

Please help me make it possible for me to be proud to be human!
